H1 Hummer and HMMWV Buyer's Resource
We're just going to assume your wife (or on a rare occasion, you're husband) with unrestrained excitement and exuberance said "fine" and you are looking to buy your dream truck...or trucks! Now the tricky part is where do you look for the truck, how do you know "runs good" won't translate to "at least until you get it home and it stops working", that it doesn't have a vampire...no, not the one from Transylvania, this vampire sucks money from your wallet, and that you will be able to have an outstanding experience getting and driving your truck home. After having this question asked multiple times we compiled an email, then decided to put it up on the site.
As a side note, all of the forums and vendors are on here because I personally use them. No one has paid me or given me discounts in exchange for posting their info no matter how much I'd love that! You need an honest list as you are about to invest major bucks and major time and have so many potential relationship milestones because of THE HUMMER. Yes, there are other vendors I missed, and yes there are some (but not many) that I have left out and I wish them all the luck of a squirrel crossing a busy intersection.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me on Instagram or Facebook, I will always answer them personally. - Camera Craig
Flashoffroad is an outstanding resource, and their buyer's guide is the most comprehensive overview you will find in one location as a potential owner.
One of the best communities you will find short of small local groups you might be lucky enough to have near you. This is a great place to ask questions, get tips, and see what other owners are doing to their trucks.
Operated by the HML, the HummerMarketplace is an open to the public forum to buy or sell trucks. It is watched very carefully. Usually members from the HML are the ones buying and selling.
